If you follow our Instagram stories, you've probably already noticed. We moved into a new property and have been working a lot in the last few weeks to set up our own cafeteria. Because it was getting a bit long in the tooth:
Not quite as cosy, is it 😀 So it was clear from the start: something has to be done here. We want to feel comfortable in our new office and have a nice place to take a break, eat and brainstorm. In many companies, this would probably have been done by a craftsman or two - but in our case, like so many things, it's a bit different 🙂 We wanted it to look nice as quickly as possible and there was also a bit of time pressure because of our upcoming inauguration party. That's why we decided to do everything ourselves. Luckily, we have one or two employees who are not untalented with their hands and so we quickly found volunteers for our little renovation project.
First we painted the walls, laid a new floor and fixed skirting boards:
Parallel to the renovation chaos, we chose the furnishings, ordered them and set everything up. Of course, plants are also a must - so off to the garden centre we went. The car was quite full 😀
Moving the kitchen and putting up wall shelves: We are starting to see the end result and can't wait to see it!
Bit by bit, our kitchen has become more and more beautiful and cosy. A real place to feel good and also to switch off from work. A place where the whole team comes together. Our free space - that's how we christened our bistro 🙂 And the best thing: there's a part of each of us in the cosy room, as the project was once again a real joint project 😊 Finally, here are a few photos of the final result - we are incredibly satisfied and proud of what we have made of this room!
The open space looks very inviting!
You can be really proud of that!
Thank you very much! 🙂
