We celebrate one year of Wacker Stories

A year ago, we launched Wacker Stories: Our blog for all topics related to food, lifestyle and our company. In the past year, we have fed the blog with 125 articles, compiled 79 recipes for you and shared some highlights with you. Time to look back on a year of Wacker Stories. 😊

Our highlights

A lot has happened in the past year. Our personal highlight: The addition to the Wacker family. How often our office baby has looked over our shoulders in the last few months and distracted us from working or rather controlled us while we worked 😀 .

This event is closely followed by our move. Instead of hiring a removal company, we simply took the whole thing into our own hands. Who needs bowling evenings or restaurant visits as a team-building measure? You probably only believe that a move like this really brings people together when you've experienced it yourself. But the move was by no means the end of our highlights. The canteen didn't look inviting at all. So we rolled up our sleeves again and created our own little oasis of well-being.

In our "Free space" is not only the place where we have our daily lunch break. No, we have also hosted our housewarming party and our Christmas party there. The room is already filled with memories and there is a touch of personal touch from each of us in our common room.

Even more growth

In addition to our highlights that took place "behind the scenes", we also developed many new products and presented them to you via the Wacker Stories. 29 new products have our shop and inspire you and us.

Our favourite recipes

Thanks to the many new products, the pages in our Recipe book filled. Hopefully, we were also able to provide some cooking or baking inspiration. We shared 79 delicious recipes with you last year. We also asked our Wacker team what our colleagues' favourite recipes are.

My favourite recipes are the Breakfast pizza and the Apple Cinnamon Bread Baked Oatsas they take the sweet breakfast to a new level.

Luca Johanna

My favourite thing to cook is the Vegetable curry with the sprouted chickpeas and the Lentil bolognese with vegetable spaghetti. The dishes are quick to prepare, varied in taste, filling and quite changeable.

Albert

The Spinach gnocchi with basil pesto, sun-dried tomatoes & cedar nuts are my personal favourite recipe! I have often tried to make gnocchi myself and have often failed. Here it worked for the first time! To be honest, I could sink my teeth into gnocchi. I find the combination of spinach, pesto and tomatoes and the crunchy cedar nuts really delicious! The dish takes a little time, but it's definitely worth the wait and cooking here!

Fabienne

My favourite summer recipe is definitely the Nicecream on a stick. Otherwise, I'm a fan of quick dishes with few ingredients, such as the Fawaffle.

Maren

And so it goes on!

In addition, we have shared our experiences and research results in various areas with you. Was there a topic that was on your mind? Then it has also occupied us. We have compiled information, let one or the other topic sink in and compiled these findings in our articles for you. So if there is a topic that particularly interests you, let us know. Maybe we'll soon have the right article for you.

One year of Wacker Stories and still no end in sight. In any case, we already have lots of new recipe, product and article ideas that you can discover bit by bit on our Wacker Stories. What excited you about the Wacker Stories? What would you like to see in the future? We are already looking forward to filling the Wacker Stories with many new pages.
