The sweet little mini ring-shaped cakes taste just great and are so moist 😋 Optionally, you can also heat chocolate in a bain-marie and drizzle it over the little cakes.

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C top and bottom heat.
  • Mix all the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl and in a small bowl mix all the soft/liquid ingredients.
  • Gradually mix the liquid ingredients into the dry ingredients until a homogeneous dough is formed.
  • Divide the batter into the ramekins and bake for approx. 20 minutes.
  • Optional: Leave the Gugelhupfe to cool and in the meantime heat the chocolate in a bain-marie and then pour over the Gugelhupfe.
