The combination of cinnamon, cardamom and cloves gives the vegan biscuit its delicious Christmas smell. What's more, making them yourself is not difficult at all and is super quick. 🎄
Servings: 1 Sheet metal
Ingredients
- 200 g Wacker Sprouted Spelt Flour Organic
- 100 g (vegan) butter or margarine
- 75 g Coconut blossom sugar
- 1 EL Plant milk
- 2 TL Speculoos spice
- or something Cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, ginger, cardamom, pepper ground
Instructions
- Knead all the ingredients in a bowl with your hands.
- Chill the dough briefly and then roll out on a floured surface.
- Preheat the oven to 175°C top and bottom heat.
- Cut the dough into rectangles. Stamp motifs into the dough. This works particularly well with a Spekulatius roller, but also works with other pastry stamps.
- Now bake the dough for 8-10 minutes.

Hello, can you also bake the speculoos with sprouted spelt flour? And if so, with the same amount?
Hello Sandra,
We'll test the recipe with spelt flour when we get the chance 🙂
If you'd like to try it beforehand, we'd love to hear about your experience! 🙂
