Anyone who comes from Mannheim or is in the area and drives past our company headquarters in Mallaustraße will be surprised. Empty rooms, no one on site. What's that all about? We have been planning to move for a long time, to larger premises with enough space for all our great products and, of course, for the more than 25 employees we have in the meantime.
We didn't expect the whole move to go so quickly. A phone call on Friday: "You can move in on Monday". One week later, we were all sitting together in the new rooms. Our plan was actually to get a removal company involved, but as we all know, plans are made to be changed sometimes. So instead of using a removal company, we decided to pack, load, drive over and unload the boxes ourselves. As a team-building measure, so to speak. Was the move stressful and exhausting? Absolutely! But the idea of a team-building exercise worked. We always felt like a great team before we moved. But when you start packing and hauling boxes together, and all that at over 30 degrees Celsius, it simply builds even more team spirit. And when things got a bit strenuous, our camp leader Waldemar always had a suitable piece of wisdom or a witty saying at the ready to boost motivation again. According to the motto "many hands make quick work", we managed to complete the move in no time at all.
Now our rooms are gradually being made really nice, so that it almost feels like home. We now have much more space. More space also for our office dog to go for a walk or two and also more rooms for our office baby to explore. You will certainly get a glimpse of our new headquarters via our social networks in the coming weeks. But finally, the most important info: Helmertstraße 17 in Mannheim - This is our new location 😊
