With good energy into spring: 7 tips for a positive start into the new season

Finally, sun again, longer and warmer days. The flowers and trees are beginning to blossom, the earth is becoming more colourful and lively. The birds are chirping and luring us out into the fresh air.

That can only mean one thing: It's spring!

After a dark, grey and cold winter, spring feels like a reward. The sunny and brighter days alone trigger new energy and feelings of happiness in us. Now is the perfect time to make fresh plans, try new things and recover from winter fatigue and finally recharge.

With these tips, you can start the next few months full of energy:

Soak up the sun: The sun and daylight have a great influence on our well-being. Take advantage of the longer days in spring to be outside and enjoy the sun. Go for a walk, do yoga in the park or read a book on the terrace. Combine me-time with vitamin D recharging.

Be social: Spring is a great time to catch up with old friends, spend time with your family or meet new people. Organise a picnic in the park, go rollerblading or go hiking with your loved ones. It gets you out in nature and in good company.

Forge plans: Spring is a great time to set new goals and make plans for the future. Where do you want to go this year? What do you want to see and experience? Take time to think about what the year can look like. This not only motivates us, but also helps us to finally get things done!

Spoil yourself with culinary delights: With the rising temperatures, the selection of fresh vegetables and fruits that we can use for cooking is finally growing again. Find a delicious recipe that you've always wanted to make and finally do it. If you still need a little inspiration, have a look at our recipes around and treat yourself to some of our new puffed snacks! They are also good to snack on while cooking 🙂

Do sport: Hard to believe, but true: sport makes you happy, because physical activity releases the happiness hormones dopamine, serotonin and endorphin. Spring offers the opportunity to do sports outdoors again, maybe try something new or revive old hobbies. So get on your bike, put on your running shoes or pack your walking sticks!

Off into nature: As you may have noticed while reading this post, I personally love spring. It is my absolute favourite season. Because nature finally becomes colourful again, plants grow and the scent of nature changes. It's a wonderful time of year to explore nature and discover new places. For example, next time you go for a walk, turn left instead of right, visit a national park or a botanical garden. This gives you positive energy and is simply fun.

Practice gratitude: Of course, with a little green in nature, life is not suddenly without problems. But it offers us the opportunity to shift our focus away from negative thoughts and towards more positive ones. Allow these beautiful thoughts and feelings and practice gratitude for what you see and experience. Sometimes it's the little things that have a big impact.
