This is because the chocolate egg does not contain refined sugar and artificial additives like other shop-bought Easter eggs. The sweetness comes from the puffed bananawhich provides vitamins, potassium and magnesium. And our germinated buckwheat provides plenty of protein, fibre and antioxidants.
This recipe is also great as a snack after Easter. Simply mould the mixture into a shape of your choice. For example, into a square 🙂

Ingredients
- 100 g Chocolate bitter
- 1 TL Coconut oil
- Handful Wacker Sprouted Buckwheat Organic
- Handful Wacker Puffed Banana Organic
- 4-5 Rice cakes
- 2 EL Nut butter
- 1 TL Cinnamon Ceylon
Instructions
- Put the chocolate together with the nut butter and the coconut oil in a pot and let the ingredients melt.
- Now add the buckwheat and cinnamon. Break the rice cakes and the puffed banana into small pieces and add them to the pot. Now mix everything together.
- Then pour the mixture onto a baking tray, shape it into an egg and leave it to set in the freezer for 30 minutes.
