Banana bread - vegan & gluten-free

Whether as a dessert or for breakfast - banana bread always goes and is quick and easy to prepare. In addition, ours does not need any conventional sugar at all: The ripe bananas provide plenty of sweetness and if you like it even sweeter, you can add our date sugar. Thanks to our sprouted buckwheat flour, the banana bread is even gluten-free and provides you with valuable fibre. Add a little cedar nut puree on top and you've got a delicious, healthy snack for in-between meals.

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C top/bottom heat and grease an oblong cake tin.
  • Mash the bananas with a fork and add all the other ingredients, mix everything well with a hand mixer.
  • Pour the dough into the greased tin and bake in the oven for about 60 minutes. You can use a wooden stick to check whether the banana bread is ready: simply prick it and when no more moist dough hangs on the stick, it is ready.
  • Leave to cool well and enjoy with our cedar nut puree, for example 🙂
