Fancy a High Plant Protein Schnitzel without animal suffering? Our schnitzels contain a whopping 31g of protein thanks to the sprouted oat flakes 🙂
Servings: 4
Ingredients
- 220 g Wacker Sprouted Oat Flakes Organic
- 1 TL Salt
- 1 TL Pepper
- 1/2 TL Nutmeg
- 1 EL Onion powder
- 1 EL Garlic powder
- 1/2 EL Paprika noble sweet
- 200 ml Plant milk hot
- 1 TL Mustard
- Margarine or frying oil for browning
- Breadcrumbs
- Lemon slices optional
Instructions
- Mix our sprouted oat flakes with the salt, pepper and other spices.
- Add the hot vegetable milk and mustard and mix well.
- Cover and leave to stand for 20 minutes. Form 4 thin cutlets. Coat both sides with breadcrumbs and then melt some margarine in a frying pan.
- Then you can sear the cutlets on both sides first on a higher heat and then continue to sear them on a medium heat until they have been in the pan for a total of 10 minutes. ENJOY! 😋

I have modified the Hightech plant protein schnitzel recipe:
with spelt flakes and falafel mix instead of spice powder. All with almond milk and very little breadcrumbs. It tastes good and is filling.
I could imagine that it would be perfect with onion chutney or beetroot.
I would be delighted to receive more waffle recipes from you, as I love to eat savoury waffles with every meal. I'd love quantities for Belgian iron.
